3 Reasons Why You SHOULD Work Amazon Flex

If you’re looking for a flexible gig and the opportunity to earn some extra income, Amazon Flex might be the perfect fit for you. And these are 3 reasons why I enjoy working for Amazon as an independent contractor:

1️⃣First is schedule flexibility.

One of the biggest advantages of working for Amazon Flex is the flexible schedule it offers. Amazon Flex is available to work 7 days a week. And unlike a typical 9 to 5 job or service-based side job, you can schedule Flex blocks any day of the week that works with your schedule. You have the freedom to choose when you want to work.

Whether you prefer working during the day, in the evenings, or on weekends, Amazon Flex allows you to find the perfect balance between work and personal life. As a new father, this comes in handy if I need to take a random weekday off for my child’s doctor appointment.

2️⃣Second is that I set my own hours.

Amazon Flex blocks start as earlier as 3:30am and run as late as 8:00pm. So not only can I choose which days of the week to work, but also what hours of the day to work that are convenient for me.

I personally like the early morning hours. Highways and interstates have minimal traffic, and the neighborhoods are very quiet and feel like a ghost town. By selecting early morning blocks, you can capitalize on lighter traffic and have a higher chance of completing your deliveries before the rush hour starts.

3️⃣Third, I am my own boss.

I answer to no one but myself. I manage my schedule, track my mileage, and balance my business checking account. And as long as I deliver the packages on time and follow the customer’s delivery notes, I have nothing to worry about. There is no one looking over my shoulder and zero micromanaging to deal with.

Delivering packages for Amazon Flex offers a flexible schedule, competitive earnings, and a sense of freedom. So, if you’re looking for a gig that gives you the freedom to choose your own hours and earn some extra income, Amazon Flex could be the perfect fit for you.
