How to Cancel an Amazon Flex Block
If you’ve scheduled a block but find yourself unable to make it, don’t worry or stress because forfeiting a block is an easy, straightforward process.
To cancel a delivery block, you’ll need to access the Amazon Flex app on your smartphone. Open the app and log into your account using your credentials. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be ready to proceed with cancelling the block.
1️⃣Go into your app and hit the drop-down menu button.
2️⃣Click on calendar.
3️⃣Click on the date.
4️⃣Then select the block you want to forfeit.
5️⃣And then confirm “yes” to the question: “Are you sure you want to forfeit this block?”
Once you’ve canceled the block, you should receive a confirmation message or notification within the app. This confirms your cancellation was successful. But it’s always a good idea to double-check and make sure the block no longer appears in your calendar or scheduled blocks list.
It is very important to note that, you want to cancel a block no later than 45 minutes before its start time, so that your driver ratings are not an effected. And if you’ve canceled a block but still want to deliver that same day, you can always go back into the app to reserve another block.
